So the map looked pretty easy. One turn on a highway after driving down Sukhumvit Road for awhile. The flyer said it was 30 minutes away.
Sitting on a motorbike for an extended amount of time - not fun. Luckily, it did not rain during our venture... only sprinkled. We're in the rainy season now. However, the amount of puddles on the road from previous rain, and dirt that a motorbike kicks up leaves something to be desired.
We didn't end up finding the Tiger Zoo. We got to the town of Sriracha (don't know if this is where they make the sauce) which is where its located, but asking for directions in Thailand is a whole other issue. We stumbled upon a delicious Cake Cafe thanks to Brian's nose. He smelled it while we were zooming around on our motorbikes. Luckily, they served more than cake. Though we played with no baby tigers, the food and experience was good!!!
Upon consultation with Google Earth, we realized we should probably take a taxi next time. The zoo is quiet a ways away from the actual town of Sriracha. Silly us :)

It looked better than it tasted... not sweet which is a surprise because they add a ton of sugar to everything in Thailand. |
After returning home, our friend had a craving for Hard Rock Cafe nachos. We were planning on going to the foam party at the HRC anyway... perfect!
Today everything we planned went wrong. No foam party. But, the food was okay... obviously very pricey. The band was awesome though. Everyone seemed to be rocking along to, "Born in the USA," with us being the only obvious Americans. Most patrons were too concerned with the semi-finals of the World Cup.
